NEW: JO22 and JO32 SMD Quartz Oscillators with variable supply voltage

NEW: JO22 and JO32 SMD Quartz Oscillators with variable supply voltage

In addition to the extremely compact size of these oscillators, the advantage at concept of a new design is that theseXOs can be employed in the application at any operating voltage between 1.8V to 3.3V.
Therefore, the customer does not need to order a specific operating voltage such as 1.8V / 2.5V / 2.8V / 3.0V / 3.3V and is much more flexible when using these XOs than when previously using a fixed voltage type XO. The voltage function may also vary during operation of the XO in this range of 1.8V ~ 3.3V, with the variations of the frequency remaining minimal. For battery-operated devices, the oscillator remains functional for a long duration as the battery voltage drops lower.
Due to their very small size, the JO32 (3225) and in particular the JO22 (2520) packages, these parts are suitable for applications in which a compact integration is a priority for the engineer due to the high degree of miniaturization in today’s circuits.
The JO22 and JO32 are particularly suitable for miniaturized electronic devices with very limited space on printed circuit board and suit many IoT and wearable type applications. Both oscillators are also available in the industrial operating temperature range (-40°C ~ +125°C).

HARTING - Ever more compact, lighter and faster

HARTING - Ever more compact, lighter and faster

With ix Industrial and Single Pair Ethernet HARTING is showing Ethernet communication products and the technology of today and tomorrow. Miniaturisation is one of six trends marking the evolution of Integrated Industry and describing the benefit for the customer. Components and complete machines are contracting in all areas of industry and automation. Digitisation is also diversifying smart devices and de-centralised processing power out in the field. Where large data highways and branched bus systems used to prevail, increasingly intelligent components such as camera systems, sensors and actuators are now taking high-speed Ethernet out to the furthest field levels. They are the lifelines of an increasingly powerful and rapidly networked industry.

Jauch expands battery portfolio with its own lithium batteries featuring CR technology

Jauch batteries with CR technology
Jauch Quartz has been involved in battery technology since 1974. Recently we added our own Jauch lithium-manganese dioxide batteries, types CR123 and CR2, to our range. With its potential of -3.05 V, lithium is an ideal negative electrode material for batteries. It results in high cell voltages and high capacities.

JAUCH -Battery packs developed individually for customers

JAUCH -Battery packs developed individually for customers

Choosing the right battery solution is of utmost importance for many applications. And it’s not just about security: battery packs can also provide a lot of potential. Only through good planning and the consideration of all relevant influencing factors can problems that may occur later be prevented in advance.

Jauch goal is to develop the optimum mobile energy source for each end product and its concrete operating conditions. That’s why the experienced battery specialists at Jauch Quartz work closely with their customers as early as the development phase.

Wireless lighting controls by CP Electronics enable 25% labour cost reduction in hospital refurb

Located in the Liverpool suburb of Broadgreen, Liverpool Heart and Chest hospital is a renowned medical facility that specializes in the treatment of heart and lung disease. With the financial difficulties of the NHS well documented, lighting controls from CP Electronics are playing an important part in reducing the energy-relating expenditure for the NHS during a refurbishment of the hospital’s outpatient unit. Moreover, the intuitive wireless design of the solutions, coupled with the consultative approach of CP Electronics experts, helped to make the installation process considerably easier, saving valuable time and money on the project.
